Blue Loon's Launch
Today we launched Blue Loon, our new Aspen Catamaran, and took her out for a first cruise. The boat designer and owner of the company, Larry Graf, went with us and began to teach us how to use it. Thankfully, our two engineers, Scot and Erin were along. They understood more than we did. Erin took notes and Scot asked a lot of questions. Hopefully by the end of tomorrow's lessons Rich and I will be able to handle the boat. We are really pleased with how the boat turned out. It is also just the right size for the two of us to sail on. And it will be moored right below our condo at the Edmonds Marina.
